Short and honest, no legalese where I can help it: this covers how you can use system98. By using the tools, you're agreeing to what's below.
01 What system98 is
system98 is a free collection of small web tools (a QR code generator and a background remover, with more planned), run by one person, not a company or a team. There are no accounts, no subscriptions, and nothing locked behind a paywall.
02 Using the tools
You can use the tools for free, as long as you stick to applicable law.
- You're responsible for making sure that whatever you upload, convert, or generate belongs to you or that you have the necessary rights to it.
- You may not use the tools for illegal purposes, automated mass scraping, or deliberately overloading the servers.
- Uploaded files and entered content must not violate applicable law.
03 No warranty, no liability
The tools are provided “as is.” There's no guarantee of constant availability, error-free operation, or a specific result. As a one-person project, a tool might occasionally stop working while I fix something.
No liability is accepted for damages arising from use of the tools, to the extent permitted by law. This limitation doesn't apply to intent or gross negligence.
04 Changes to the tools or these terms
Tools can be changed, extended, or discontinued at any time. These terms can be updated as needed, for example when a new tool is added. The current version always applies.
